- The Associate, Credit Structuring (ACS) will join our Mid-Market Commercial Banking group (1-10MM) and will focus on the following core responsibilities;
- 1. Supporting Senior Relationship Manager's (SRM) in growth and risk management;
- Assist SRM's in onboarding new clients to drive growth
- 2. Analyzing and structuring deals;
- Recommend appropriate structures to meet clients needs while maintaining risk parameters
- Provide sign off on exceptions as required, scrub transactions requiring higher level sign-off
- 3. Risk Management;
- Demonstrate strong risk ownership by focusing on high quality credit submissions, ensuring that credit decisions align with BMO's risk appetite
- Ensure risk is effectively managed by adhering to financing guidelines
- 4. Learning and Development;
- Participate in the delivery of meaningful credit risk programs
The ACS facilitates decisioning and analysis of all types of credit information to support lending decisions and processes for the bank. Maintains and promotes a client service environment to satisfy and exceed customer needs and expectations. This role will make credit decisions and recommendations in accordance with sound credit-granting principles and in compliance with Bank Policies & Procedures.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
