At Graham, one of North America’s largest general contractors, we don’t just construct buildings, we create spaces that shape lives and strengthen communities. As part of our Buildings division, you will contribute to meaningful projects across the region, from hospitals and schools to entertainment venues and multi-family residences.

Here, your work has purpose. Your safety and growth are supported. And your impact is lasting.

Join a team that builds with commitment, reliability, and integrity. Apply today and help us build what matters.

Your Impact Starts Here

Graham is actively recruiting a Senior Commercial Specialist to support our Buildings Division. Reporting functionally to the Commercial Director and working closely with project leadership, this role is accountable for providing contractual, financial, and commercial leadership to project teams during project execution. The Senior Commercial Specialist is responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of assigned projects within the Business Unit, typically supporting projects with annual revenues exceeding $25M. This role also includes mentoring and guiding commercial coordinators while supporting project teams to ensure disciplined contract administration, strong commercial performance, and successful project outcomes.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

  • Lead commercial and contract management for assigned projects, overseeing prime contracts, subcontracts, and commercial administration to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and successful project execution
  • Provide commercial and financial oversight by managing cash flow, revenue projections, cost control, forecasting, profit and loss reporting, and risk and opportunity positions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support change management and claims by leading change order pricing and approvals, preparing and evaluating claims, resolving disputes, and ensuring contractual entitlements are protected
  • Advise and support project teams by providing contractual, commercial, and financial guidance, ensuring compliant contract administration, and aligning execution with contract requirements
  • Build relationships and develop capability by working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, while mentoring commercial coordinators and supporting continuous improvement of commercial processes

The Right Tools for the Job

Education: Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business, or a related field is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience: 10–15 years of construction experience, including 10+ years in commercial/contract management, supporting complex projects exceeding $25M in value

Skills & Tools: Advanced expertise in construction contract administration, financial forecasting, cost control, change management, claims, and risk & opportunity management, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to interpret contractual and legal language independently

Compensation

  • Salary Range $120,000 to $140,000 per annum
  • Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
  • Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
  • Flexible, comprehensive Health & Dental benefits plan designed to support your well‑being
