About the Role :
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Part Time Cord Blood Collections Specialist to join our dynamic Stem Cells Team.
Reporting to the Collection Supervisor, Recruitment / Collections, you will work collaboratively with Canadian Blood Services Cord Blood Bank (CBS’CBB) staff to ensure promotion, development and maintenance of an environment of continuous quality improvement, in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards and customer satisfaction.
Formula for Success :
You will be responsible for umbilical ex-utero cord collections at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. In addition, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining public awareness / promotion and education as well as maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ex-Utero Cord Blood Collections
Implements and Maintains Operation of the CBS’CBB Collection Location-Hospital
Assists with the Quality Event Management Quality Assurance Program
Communication / Relationship Management
