As the Systems Developer you will be a member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of moderately complex and diverse team initiatives with the support of your team members.
Technologies you have experience with:
- Intermediate level experience with JavaScript Framework (React JS).
- Intermediate level experience designing and building web-based applications
- Working knowledge of Containerized framework, Azure Cloud, SSO integration.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validation to support automation workflows.
- Proficient in version control using Git, including branching strategies and collaboration workflows
- Working knowledge of utilization of APIs and tools such as Postman for validating endpoints, chaining requests and verifying responses within automation (experience with mocking is an asset).
- Experience with Performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner and Neo Load.
- Experience designing and executing performance experiments designed to validate performance improvements in key metrics such as requests per second (RPS), P95 and P99 latency, query performance, request concurrency, CPU/memory utilization, and cost efficiency.
- Experience in Monitoring system behavior during peak loads and post-release validation.
- Experience with continuous improvement of performance testing frameworks and processes.
- Experience analyzing business requirements and developing robust automation test suits with tools such as Playwright or Selenium, using POM.
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for building reliable automation tests.
- Experience integrating API and UI automation into CI/CD pipelines using Github actions and Docker is an asset.
How you will create impact:
- Translating requirements into a cohesive working plan in accordance with guidelines and standards.
- Writing code to implement functionalities and features of small to medium complexity.
- Creating an implementation and back-out plan for a single system.
- Performing unit testing for developed code, supporting system and user acceptance testing, and resolving defects by troubleshooting root causes.
- Fostering productive relationships with Information Technology (IT) business partners and communicating analysis and results accordingly.

Salary information
Expected salary range $60,574 to $100,956
Salary placement
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
