Dillon's Coastal Engineering Group is seeking a talented Coastal Engineering Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the exciting opportunity to work on a variety of coastal projects across Canada, providing our clients with integrated and expert solutions. This position is available at our Vancouver office.
Responsibilities
What your day will look like
Project Management & Technical Leadership
- Lead and manage coastal engineering projects, providing technical guidance to project teams on multidisciplinary projects.
- Develop specialized technical expertise in coastal engineering projects, including coastal erosion and protection, coastal flooding assessments, port and harbour development, and shoreline management planning.
- Conduct advanced hydrotechnical assessments specifically for coastal environments, including wave transformation, storm surge modeling, and tidal analysis.
- Coordinate and manage the coastal engineering components of diverse multidisciplinary projects, from small studies to large-scale infrastructure developments.
- Develop and oversee field investigations, data collection programs, and monitoring programs for coastal projects.
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, environmental scientists, planners, and other technical specialists.

Dillon includes the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position, and is dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region.
