North Central Co-op provides goods and services to our local communities within Stony Plain, Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Spruce Grove, St. Albert, Legal and Sherwood Park. We are proud of our 100,000+ member-owners, our 650+ team members throughout our 20+ Gas Bars, Home Centre, 4 Cardlock/Bulk Fuel Stations, 6 Food Stores, 6 Liquor Stores and Administration Office, in addition to future growth.

We invite applications for the position of Part-time Grocery Clerk to join our team at our Stony Plain Food Store in Stony Plain, AB. Open availability is an asset.

What you'll do:

  • Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers in the department
  • Stock and face products in the grocery department
  • Maintain a display of products ensuring facing, filling and organization of products meets company standards
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of all workspaces
  • Assist with deliveries and pick-ups
  • Other duties as required

Who you are:

  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic approach to work
  • Efficient and accurate when working in a busy environment
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid Alberta Driver's License
