Overview
We are seeking a Geophysical Researcher to join the Geophysics Technology Division.
The Geophysics Technology Division is responsible to develop advanced processing and inversion technologies applied to seismic and Multiphysics data for geohazard identification, resource exploration and monitoring / surveillance.
As a Geophysical Researcher your primary role is to bring innovation and technological skills in applications targeting shallow and deep subsurface for resource exploration and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following :
- Develop opportunities and solutions in geophysics data processing, inversion technology and AI developments that can bring significant realized value to Saudi Aramco.
- Work with multiple Saudi Aramco departments to execute all phases of the technology development process including idea generation, technology development, field trials, deployment to users for validation, and production level implementation. Additional tasks may involve writing technical justification, contracting, project management, milestone evaluations, and commercialization.
- Disseminate new geophysical technologies and research findings by writing patents, publishing in renowned scientific journals, presenting at technical meetings, and direct outside professional contactors.
- Document and present findings internally and externally.
