Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
Coordination of shipments from Latin America (working closely with suppliers and freight forwarders)
Last mile logistics for import shipments (ocean reefer containers)
Follow up on customs and FDA releases
Ensure fluid flow of cargo to our customers; actively address issues with service providers (ocean carriers, forwarders, warehouses, truckers)
Other tasks as required
Qualifications
MUST be fluent in English (written / spoken)
Great communicator (in person, Teams, telephone and email)
Creative problem solver
Confident
Assertive when needed
Flexible
Organized
Team player in a very collaborative and open environment
Ability to work independently and in a team; enjoys working closely with colleagues
Must work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to prioritize many tasks
Computer skills : Excel-Outlook-Word, prior SAP experience an asset
Comfortable with technology (online platforms, EDI)
