As a Data Management Consultant, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytics platforms that power decision‑making across the organization. You’ll work in a dynamic, agile environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and mentoring junior engineers. This role is ideal for someone ready to deepen their technical expertise and take on increasing ownership of data engineering initiatives.
What You’ll Do :
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using tools such as Pyspark, SQL, and Azure Data Factory
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of cloud data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Azure)
- Apply ETL / ELT best practices, including rollback strategies, bad record handling, and performance tuning
- Implement and maintain data governance practices including masking, encryption, and lineage tracking
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to setting standards and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development
- Create and maintain documentation for design, implementation, and testing of data solutions
- Support integration of diverse data sources including Oracle, APIs, and SFTP
- Explore and apply data modeling techniques such as dimensional modeling and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs)
- Work with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory; experience with Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect is considered a plus
