Wholehealth Medica is a leading healthcare provider in Ontario, specializing in comprehensive, patient-centered care that integrates family medicine, mental wellness, and functional medicine. Our OHIP-covered clinic is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes by offering coordinated, evidence-based mental health services in collaboration with primary care. Through patient navigation, virtual care, and in-clinic support , we ensure timely access to psychiatric care, optimizing treatment plans for individuals in need.
We are currently expanding our team and seeking a dedicated psychiatrist to join our innovative healthcare model.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Psychiatrist at WHOLEHEALTH MEDICA. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing psychiatric care, specializing in adolescent psychiatry and mental health. The role will involve diagnosing and treating patients, prescribing medication, and offering therapy sessions to promote mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Medicine and Psychiatry skills
- Experience in Adolescent Psychiatry
- Strong understanding of Mental Health
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Experience in telepsychiatry is a plus
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completion of residency program in Psychiatry
