Job Summary : The Marketing Director for Yoplait Canada will be responsible for the overall strategic management of marketing for the Yoplait brand, ensuring that marketing objectives align with the company’s vision and values. This role includes developing long-term marketing strategies, managing the marketing team, optimizing business performance, and driving product innovation. The ideal candidate has proven experience in strategic brand management, expertise in the food industry, and strong leadership skills to drive large-scale projects while positively influencing the company’s growth in the Canadian market.Key Responsibilities : Global Marketing Strategy : Develop and implement the marketing strategy for Yoplait Canada in line with company objectives.Identify new growth opportunities through product innovation, market trends, and consumer behavior analysis.Lead branding initiatives and ensure Yoplait’s brand alignment across all communication channels and marketing materials.Leadership and Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, including Brand Managers and Assistant Brand Managers.Foster team cohesion and promote a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.Support talent development within the team, ensuring continuous skill and performance growth.Project Management and Product Innovation : Oversee the development and launch of new products and strategic initiatives.Collaborate with R&D, production, and innovation teams to design products that meet market expectations while maintaining Yoplait’s quality standards.Drive media planning, integrated advertising campaigns (digital, TV, events), and promotional activities to ensure continuous brand growth.Performance Analysis and Growth : Monitor brand performance (sales, market share, profitability) and provide strategic recommendations based on in-depth data analysis.Utilize analytical tools to assess marketing impact and adjust strategies based on results.Conduct competitive analysis to maintain a strong position in the dairy and FMCG industry.Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, finance, production, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project execution.Contribute to defining commercial strategies, sales support tools, and product supply plans.Maintain clear communication with both local and global teams to ensure a consistent strategy.Compliance and Regulatory Management : Ensure all marketing activities comply with Canadian legal and regulatory requirements, including product labeling and CFIA standards.Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to anticipate and respond to legislative changes.Job Requirements : Education : University degree in marketing, business management, or a related field. An MBA is an asset.Professional Experience : Over 15 years of experience in a similar role, with significant experience in the food or FMCG industry. Dairy industry knowledge is a strong plus.Proven experience in a leadership role, including team management and oversight of complex projects.Required Skills : Expertise in marketing strategy, brand management, and product development at a strategic level.Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data tools such as Nielsen, Tableau, or Google Analytics.Demonstrated ability to manage multicultural and cross-functional teams.Sharp strategic mindset with excellent stakeholder influencing skills.Deep understanding of the Canadian market, consumer trends, and cultural nuances, particularly those of the Quebec market.Assets : Experience in digital marketing and digital transformation management.Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written, is mandatory.Knowledge of Canadian food regulations (CFIA).Passion for innovation in the food and nutrition sector.
