We’re seeking an Experienced Commercial Kitchen Cleaner to join our team! This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of commercial kitchen environments. If you have prior experience in commercial cleaning and a strong eye for detail, this could be the perfect fit.

JOB : Commercial Cleaner (Restaurant Kitchen Cleaner)

PAY : $20 / hr

TYPE : Part-Time

LOCATION : KW Region

SHIFT : Night Shift

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum of 1 year in commercial kitchen cleaning, ideally within busy restaurant or food service kitchens.
  • Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols specific to restaurant kitchens.
  • Must be available to work overnight shifts reliably.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, scrubbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • High standard for cleanliness, with the ability to recognize and address areas requiring extra care.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Perform detailed cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, appliances (e.g., ovens, grills, fryers), countertops, floors, walls, storage areas, and ventilation hoods to eliminate grease, food particles, and contaminants.
  • Use appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to sanitize all areas and prevent contamination.
  • Thoroughly clean grease traps, fryer hoods, and other high-grease areas to prevent buildup and maintain safety standards.
  • Handle disposal of waste, grease, and recycling according to health regulations, ensuring no waste is left in the kitchen area post-cleaning.
  • Conduct inspections of all areas to confirm cleanliness and sanitation, addressing or reporting any maintenance issues or health code concerns.
  • Maintain, organize, and clean all cleaning supplies and equipment (mops, brooms, chemical solutions) after each shift, ensuring readiness for the next cleaning cycle.
  • Scrub and sanitize floors thoroughly, paying close attention to areas under equipment and along walls to prevent slips and falls.
