Job descriptionClean and maintain shredding equipment, including conveyor systems, screens, magnets, and other components, to ensure optimal performance and prevent contamination Remove unwanted materials, such as non-metallic objects, dirt, and other contaminants, from the shredder and its surrounding areas to prevent damage and maintain efficiency Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment Adhere to lockout / tagout procedures and other safety practices Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shredder area, ensuring the removal of debris, proper waste disposal, and general housekeeping tasks Previous experience in an industrial cleaning or maintenance role is preferred Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and manual dexterity Attention to detail and the ability to spot and remove contaminants from the shredder equipment effectively Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good communication skills to interact with supervisors, operators, and other team members A competitive wage starting at $20 / hour Vacation, benefits and RRSP matching program AIM Tuition Assistance Program The tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development A dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun!

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated, Shredder Cleaner to join our team for the afternoon shift, Monday-Friday, 2 : 30pm-11 : 00pm . As a Shredder Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our shredding equipment. Your role will involve removing debris and ensuring optimal performance.
