Position Purpose
Reporting to the Manager, this position is responsible to maintain, troubleshoot and repair various mechanical devices and heating, aeration, air conditioning and their auxiliary systems in facilities across campus in order to achieve optimum life span of equipment.
Applicants with a TSSA 4th Class Engineer certification are welcome to apply. The applicable salary range for this classification is $37.41–$38.99 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical inspections of building service rooms and areas both interior and exterior
- Verify daily environmental controls and ensures readings are within accepted standards.
- Perform periodic and seasonal preventive maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
- Perform mechanical maintenance such as filter and belt changing, greasing, etc.
