Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with a strong background in individual insurance to join our team on a high-priority engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical expertise, product ownership capabilities, and leadership skills to drive successful delivery and business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for insurance-related initiatives.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and strategic goals.
  • Drive Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Provide strategic direction and decision-making support as a Product Owner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend optimization and transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance standards within the insurance domain.



Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Product Owner.
  • Strong domain expertise in individual insurance.
  • Mandatory expertise in Pricing and Claims processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.


Language Requirement

  • Fluency in French (Mandatory) – both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in English is also required for collaboration with global teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with insurance platforms or digital transformation projects.
  • Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Product Ownership is a plus.
