Comme une équipe sportive, chaque rôle contribue au succès de l’entreprise. L’assistant-contremaître est un leader de la cour à bois et des livraisons, il contribue grandement à la satisfaction de nos clients par son professionnalisme et sa planification.

Sommaire du poste

En collaboration avec le contremaître, l’assistant-contremaître assure de façon globale le bon fonctionnement de la cour, du service à la clientèle ainsi que du service de livraison. Il est responsable de la planification des tâches et de leur exécution, et ce tant au niveau de la cour que des livraisons. Il est responsable de son équipe et du maintien d’un bon climat de travail. Il gère et règle dans le cadre de ses fonctions, tous les problèmes qui peuvent survenir dans la cour, et ce à tous les niveaux. L’assistant-contremaître assure le respect des normes et procédures reliées à la santé et la sécurité au travail.

Compétences

Avoir une excellente forme physique;
Détenir un excellent sens de la planification et de coordination;
Être un bon communicateur;
Être professionnel et détenir un leadership positif;
Détenir une bonne écoute;
Avoir un bon esprit d’équipe.

Connaissances et formations requises

Avoir de l’expérience dans un poste similaire;

Avoir une bonne connaissance des matériaux de construction;

Avoir des connaissances en mécanique de camion;

Connaître les règles de charge et arrimage de la SAAQ;

Avoir de l’expérience en conduite de chariot élévateur;

Détenir un permis d’opérateur de chariot élévateur un atout;

Avoir une bonne maîtrise de la langue française, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

Conditions de travail

Salaire moyen offert : 16.50 à 24.54 $ / h (selon l’expérience et l’équité interne);

Horaire de travail debout et à l’extérieur;

Déplacements fréquents ;

Charges jusqu’à 75 livres à soulever.
