Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Production Line Equipment Operators to join our clients manufacturing team in Belleville, ON. In this role you will be responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe production. This role requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Pay Rate: $ 22.50/hour
  • Location: Belleville, ON
  • Shift: Continental shift rotation

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor packaging line equipment. Be proficient in machine set up, operation, and basic troubleshooting of equipment such as the laner, case packer and palletizer
  • Ensure all supplies (corrugate, glue, etc.) are stocked and refilled for production.
  • Maintain all equipment and work areas by following proper cleaning procedures.
  • Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately.
  • Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
  • Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent level of education. Post-secondary education in related fields is an asset.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Comfortable with extensive standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting production equipment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others to accomplish objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to complete production documentation and coordinate with cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts and flexible with changes as our company grows.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
