Job descriptionAssist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures with professionalism and care. Prepare animals for examinations and treatments, including restraint and sedation when necessary. Collect and process laboratory samples such as blood, urine, or tissue for testing. Perform laboratory tests accurately, record results, and communicate findings to the veterinary team. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians. Maintain detailed medical records for all animal patients. Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and post‑treatment care. Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and treatment areas. Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures and assist with recovery. Certification or license as a Veterinary Technician. Laboratory experience is highly desirable to support diagnostic processes effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with pet owners and team members professionally. Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well‑being. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
