The Opportunity
Milestone is seeking a Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the Executive Leadership Team on a part-time basis (812 days / month). The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the companys next stage of growth, providing board-level financial leadership and ensuring financial integrity while maintaining flexibility in engagement.
Key areas of impact include :
- Strategic Financial Leadership advising the CEO and Board on long-term strategies, forecasts, and growth models.
- Capital & Treasury Management optimizing cash flow, debt / equity structures, bonding, and investor relations.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance ensuring robust controls, multi-province compliance, ESG alignment, and risk mitigation.
- Growth & M&A guiding financial due diligence, modelling, and integrations.
- Finance Transformation modernizing ERP, dashboards, and automation.
- Ensures solid accounting and reporting discipline through rigorous month-end reviews, quarterly closes, fiscal year-end planning, and proactive audit management, providing leadership and stakeholders with timely, accurate financial insights.
- Leadership Development mentoring the Finance team and building succession capacity.
