About the role
We are a wind energy field services company seeking an experienced HSE Officer to lead health, safety, and environmental compliance across active project sites. This role provides strategic oversight of HSE programs, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives a strong safety culture through leadership, training, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead site-wide HSE programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements
Conduct and oversee safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
Deliver and oversee HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and site inductions
Advise site management on HSE performance, risks, and improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reporting, and performance metrics
Monitor HSE trends and proactively drive continuous improvement across sites
Qualifications
OSHA 30 (Construction or General Industry) required; advanced HSE certifications preferred
Proven experience in a senior HSE, safety officer, or EHS leadership role
Strong knowledge of OSHA and applicable safety and environmental regulations
Demonstrated ability to lead investigations, audits, and corrective action programs
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting construction, industrial, or renewable energy projects preferred
