Job Description

  • Identify and assess quality training needs within NWML. Meet with managers and supervisors to ascertain needs
  • Develop, organize, conduct and evaluate quality training programs
  • Participate in quality training of new contractors to the site
  • Create teaching materials
  • Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans
  • Engage in performance improvement efforts on packaging, raw materials, product, quality assurance initiatives and process optimization
  • Focuses on packaging, raw material and product quality with regards to specification, standard operating procedure, and market requirement
  • Executes administrative responsibilities
  • Assist in internal audit quality management program, including conducting of inspections, report results, verification of nonconformances
  • Conduct GMP audits as required
  • Support organizational quality compliance, environmental, safety and philanthropic initiatives across the site

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Diploma in Food Science, Biology, chemistry, or related field (Quality Management System)
  • Training of Trainers certificate
  • HACCP certificate
  • Sound Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, GMP
  • 3 years’ experience in Food Industry in a similar role

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Internal Auditor certificate for Food Safety Management system
