DELIVERY COORDINATOR – HUNTSVILLE HONDA

The Delivery Coordinator will serve as the final face and liaison of the vehicle purchase process. They are responsible for ensuring a smooth and exceptional experience for customers taking delivery of their new or pre-owned vehicles. This role involves coordinating vehicle readiness, performing final inspections, and reviewing vehicle features and paperwork with customers.

Here’s what you’ll deliver :
Customer Handover and Orientation :
Conduct detailed walkthroughs to explain vehicle features, safety systems, and in-car technology.
Assist customers with setting up Bluetooth, infotainment systems, connected services, and apps.
Documentation and Paperwork :
Work closely with finance, licensing, and administrative departments.
Customer Experience :
Provide a welcoming, stress-free delivery experience for all customers.
Assist in coordinating customer shuttle service and test drives as available.
Maintain ongoing communication and support for the customer base of previous sales consultants to ensure continuity and trust.
Proactively manage relationships to encourage repeat business, referrals, and positive CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
Inventory and Vehicle Readiness :
Track incoming vehicles and prepare delivery units in coordination with detailing and service teams.
Process Improvement and Product Knowledge
Stay up to date with all vehicle models, trim levels, features, and software updates.
Identify opportunities to streamline the delivery process and enhance the customer experience.
Contribute ideas for improving efficiency, communication, and customer engagement.
What you need to succeed :
High School Diploma or GED
OMVIC Certification in first two weeks on the job –
G driver’s license and good driving record
1-3 years administrative experience and experience using MS Office or G-suite platforms
Customer service skills and excellent phone skills
Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in people and helping others with tact and diplomacy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A positive attitude and desire to grow and improve; a results-oriented mindset to succeed
Able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
Enthusiasm for automobiles and experience in the automotive industry preferred.

Job Type : Full-time, permanent
Compensation (expected annual compensation) : $40,000 - $50,000 per year (base salary plus monthly performance-based bonuses). This range includes a fixed base salary and eligibility for monthly bonuses tied to individual results and / or department performance, which may be influenced by business volumes. Actual bonus earnings vary based on performance.
