Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented, tech-savvy HR Specialist, Employee Experience to support and enhance our HR systems, processes, and employee experience. In this role, you will serve as the organization's Workday expert, delivering reliable HR reporting, strengthening data integrity, optimizing workflows, and supporting key HR programs such as benefits administration, analytics, and process improvement.
This position is ideal for an HR professional who thrives at the intersection of technology, data, and people, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is committed to elevating the employee experience through efficient systems and accurate, actionable insights.
  • Location: Banff, AB
  • Schedule: HYBRID (TW0 DAYS IN OFFICE BANFF) | Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary HRIS specialist with a strong focus on Workday configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Manage and resolve Employee Experience system tickets in a timely manner.
  • Build, maintain, and deliver meaningful HR dashboards, reports, and insights to support decision-making.
  • Conduct all exit interviews, consolidate insights, and identify trends impacting engagement and retention.
  • Maintain and update HR dashboards, recruiting metrics, and KPI reporting.
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and integrity across all HR systems and workflows.
  • Leverage Workday and other HR tools to support data extraction, reporting, and analysis.
  • Stay current with emerging HR technology trends and best practices.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve system efficiency.
  • Support waiver management, Workday data uploads, and cyclical HR processes.
  • Provide administrative and systems support for special projects, including system enhancements and automation initiatives.
  • Lead benefit enrollment processing, changes, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Maintain and update all benefit policy documentation.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure premium alignment between Workday and benefit providers.
  • Coordinate and deliver benefits and RRSP information sessions.
  • Ensure proactive, accurate, and high-quality benefits administration with a strong focus on employee support.
  • Conduct investigations, comfortable in making recommendations for path forward
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on HRIS, HR operations, or systems support.
  • Strong HRIS expertise, ideally hands-on Workday experience-you are the go-to systems problem solver.
  • Exceptional data management, reporting, and analytics skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex, high-volume data.
  • Strong communicator with experience creating clear process documents, guides, and training materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems, streamline workflows, and improve processes.
  • Experience with automation or workflow enhancements.
  • Interest in HR technology and continuous improvement.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
