Job descriptionMonitor Dayforce daily to authorize activities from the previous day. Prepare and send Dayforce reports to Payroll bi-weekly. Input weekly schedules accurately and adjust for employee time-off requests in Watson / Unifocus. Generate purchase orders (POs) using Birchstreet Coordinate order placements with suppliers using designated PO numbers. Establish and monitor vendors in CORA, ensuring vendor status is current. Manage daily operations within the CORA system Verify invoices in CORA to ensure timely payment processing Compile and distribute monthly financial reports to CASD Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service Follow policies, procedures and service standards Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel vehicles Other duties as assigned Relevant experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management. High school diploma or equivalent education required. Possession of a valid Alberta Driver's License. Familiarity with POMEC GL codes for accurate coding Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications required (Word, Excel & Power Point) Excellent communication and organizational skills Responsible and able to complete work without supervision Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work a variety of shifts Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision Fast-paced, upscale, luxury hotel Close proximity to Marmot Basin Ski Resort in winter and world-renowned hiking trails in summer Hospitality employees worldwide making this a great place to develop lifelong connections Sitting : 1-2 hr / day Walking : 4-8 hr / day Standing : 4-8 hr / day Bending / Reaching : 4-8 hr / day Pushing / pulling : 4-8 hr / day Physical Effort : must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, must be able to work from ladders, lifts and scaffolding Visual Effort : high Environmental Stress : busy atmosphere, working inside, outside and mechanical service areas
Job Description
As the Engineering Purchasing Manager at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the procurement process for engineering and maintenance operations through effective utilization of procurement systems and protocols.
