Job Title : Facilities Engineer (Field-Based)Location : Alberta (Fly-In Fly-Out options available)Employment Type : Full-Time / ContractExperience Level : Intermediate to Senior (5–10 Years)Certification Required : Ability to successfully obtain a P.Eng designation with APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta)Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team in Alberta. This is a field-based role that plays a critical part in the operation and continuous improvement of our oil and gas facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operations support, understanding of maintenance, engineering design, and project execution, with a demonstrated knowledge in Management of Change (MOC) processes. Key Responsibilities : Provide engineering support for day-to-day operations of field facilities.Lead and participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of facility issues.Manage and implement facility modifications through MOC processes.Oversee small to mid-sized projects from concept to execution.Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure safe and efficient facility performance.Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.Support risk assessments, HAZOPs, and design reviews.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering, OR, other Engineering discipline with demonstrated applicable experience.P.Eng. designation with APEGA, OR, eligible for registration to obtain a P.Eng. designation with APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta).5 to 10 years of relevant experience.Strong understanding of operations, maintenance, facility design, process design and monitoring / reporting, and project management.Proven experience with Management of Change (MOC) processes.Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to work in a field-based environment; fly-in fly-out arrangements available for out-of-area candidates.What We Offer : Competitive remuneration and benefits package.Opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding field-based projects.Flexible rotational schedule.Dynamic and collaborative team environment.Career development and advancement opportunities.If you're a results-driven engineer who thrives in the field and is passionate about safe, efficient operations, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now to become part of a team driving innovation and performance in Alberta’s energy
