About the Role:

The Driver FT Incentive position is a full-time driving role based in Canada, focused on the safe and timely transportation of goods or passengers. The primary objective is to ensure that deliveries or transport assignments are completed efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a dependable individual who can manage routes effectively, maintain vehicle condition, and provide excellent customer service. The driver will play a critical role in supporting the company’s operational goals by minimizing delays and ensuring cargo integrity. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall success of the logistics or transportation team by maintaining high standards of professionalism and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Canadian driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated.
  • Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
  • Physical ability to perform loading and unloading tasks as needed.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to complete delivery documentation accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a professional driving role, preferably in logistics or delivery services.
  • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor repair procedures.
  • Customer service experience to handle interactions professionally and courteously.
  • Additional certifications such as a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or specialized endorsements.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues promptly.
  • Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety, security, and customer service standards.

Drivers use navigation tools and maps to optimize routes and reduce travel time, enhancing efficiency.
