Various lengths – this competition will be used to staff multiple opportunities in English & bilingual positions to start spring / summer 2026.

$27.47 to $29.85 per hour (and additional 4% supervisory differential for lead hand positions (currently under review).)

Duties

This competition will be used to fill positions at the following locations :

Campgrounds : Visitor service, revenue collection and daily cleaning / maintenance at campgrounds & day use areas to enhance the visitor’s experience. This includes but is not limited to greeting visitors and providing orientation, information and direction; confirming reservations; selling of campsites; daily cleaning of campground washroom and other facilities, day use area washrooms / pit privies, campsite cleaning / maintenance, grounds cleaning and litter picking and emptying of trash and recycling receptacles.

Visitor Services Lead Hand : Takes the lead as a member of a work crew; communicates what has to be accomplished; identifies tools and material to be used; sets the work pace; and explains work to new crew members.

In all positions, facility cleaning and maintenance is required.

  • Willing and able to be exposed to noxious odours such as car fumes, dust, garbage, cleaning products and primitive facilities
  • Willing and able to conduct repetitive tasks
  • Willing and able to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stretch and work from ladders or step stools
