We are seeking driven, professional & energetic candidates to join our Residential Operations team for the position of Resident Manager , located at our properties located in Cambridge, Ontario.
As a Resident Manager, you will be supporting the day-to-day operations of our residential communities while helping create a positive living experience for residents.
You’ll provide responsive customer service, support leasing and rent collection activities, complete administrative tasks, and help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming common areas.
As part of the Residential Operations team, you’ll respond to resident needs, support maintenance and cleaning requirements, and uphold Skyline’s standards, policies, and values.
What You’ll Be Doing Provide excellent customer service by responding to resident questions, concerns, and maintenance requests with care, professionalism, and urgency.
Support leasing activities by answering rental inquiries, showing available suites, completing reference checks, and helping close rental opportunities.
Collect and deposit rent, review rent rolls and receivables, maintain accurate records, and complete required administrative paperwork.
Complete move-in and move-out inspections, deliver resident notices, maintain fire logbooks, and support compliance with company procedures and applicable legislation.
Help keep the property clean, safe, and welcoming by supporting common-area cleaning, groundskeeping, snow removal, and minor maintenance or repair tasks as required.
Monitor contractors on site, escalate issues to the Property Manager when needed, and remain available during assigned hours or on-call situations.
Plan and support resident engagement initiatives that help build a positive, connected community.
What You Bring A strong service orientation with the ability to build rapport with residents and deliver a positive customer experience.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stay detail oriented.
Exceptional administrative, cleaning, maintenance, and light repair skills, with general knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems considered an asset.
The ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, exercise sound judgment, and provide professional support in emergency or on-call situations.
Proficiency using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and property management systems such as Yardi, considered an asset.
