We are a family in Oshawa, Ontario, seeking a dedicated elder care provider for mom on weekends - with the possibility for occasional overnight care if interested. Our main focus is to ensure compassionate home care, helping maintain the comfort and dignity of our mom. Mom has mobility issues - walks with a walker, suffers with depression and anxiety, needs to be encouraged to do light physical activity and get outside when weather permits.
Caregiver must have experience with mental health issues like depression and anxiety. Responsibilities include providing personal care such as bathing and assisting with daily living activities, light housework, occasional grocery shopping and running errands. It is critical that you are caring, compassionate and pay attention to details.
The position offers flexible, part-time hours, perfect for those looking to make a meaningful impact without committing to full-time work. We offer a competitive wage of $19-23 per hour for the right candidate who shares our values and dedication to caring for others.
