Job descriptionSupport the Vehicle and Avionics engineering team to validate the installation and proper functioning of the avionics system. Diagnose design and integration problems, and avionics equipment failures on simulators and associated systems. Suggest and implement corrective actions for equipment problems. Make minor changes to resolve avionics system issues. Coordinate necessary work to correct identified problems. Participate in defining and fitting laboratory material test platforms. Interact with the material engineering department responsible for flight simulators. Manage equipment test inventory and participate in the equipment acquisition process. College diploma in Avionics Technician. 8 years of experience, with or without License AME / FAA. Ability to read schematics and other avionics technical documents. Knowledge of avionics systems and associated terminology. MRO / Assembly experience. Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and user diagnostic software. Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis during the investigation process. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and associated tools.
