Eventscape is looking for our next Installation Site Foreman. This critical role supervises our projects on the front lines, seeing them through the final stage—installation.The Installation Site Foreman will supervise construction trades and may be hands-on with installs. As travel is a mandatory requirement of this role, the Installation Site Foreman must ensure they can travel without restrictions locally and internationally and are responsible for maintaining their travel documents. This is a remote position, reporting to our TORONTO office. WHO ARE WE? ABOUT THE ROLE The Installation Site Foreman role will : install interior and exterior prefabricated products travel globally for installations, sometimes at short notice supervise construction staff, contractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure on-time completion while enforcing safety standards resolve problems and coordinate activities through collaboration and communication perform site visits and site surveying; evaluate methods for fabrication and installation conduct daily site inspections to verify material and tool use function as a liaison with clients assist in-house fabrication teams when not on site, and lend input from an installation perspective interpret and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, or sample parts determine project requirements and procedures, including required materials and workers travel locally, provincially, and internationally as needed must be able to travel to and work in USA maintain no-restriction travel status and proactively prevent travel document expiration ABOUT YOU experience supervising both union and non-union subcontractors knowledge of construction tracking and scheduling software knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations familiarity with common construction tools and equipment ability to interpret blueprints / drawings finish carpentry and / or metal fabrication experience 5+ years of site management in construction industry education in Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience CPR and first aid certifications valid driver’s license valid passport and the ability to obtain a work visas if required ability to travel without restrictions (local, provincial, and international) WHY EVENTSCAPE? claim your place in our collaborative network of multi-disciplinary architectural fabrication experts make meaningful contributions to projects at the forefront of architecture, art, and design be part of a fast-paced, creative, challenging, and highly rewarding work environment unwind with our active social calendar featuring contests, celebrations, and unique activities be inspired and challenged by our team of the most creative, talented, and passionate individuals join a fast-growing company with opportunities for advancement leverage state-of-the-art machinery and be on the forefront of technical innovation experience the thrill of seeing our projects come to life through fabrication and installation enjoy extended health and dental benefits be a valued member of a socially conscious and family-owned company join us as we build the extraordinary APPLY NOW For more information or if you need disability accommodation, contact human resources at (416) 231-8855.
