Job descriptionPost‑secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 4+ years of purchasing / procurement experience (experience with cleaning products or manufacturing is a plus). Proven ability to source across multiple vendors and negotiate supply contracts. Strong ERP and Microsoft Office Suite skills; advanced Excel proficiency. Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and communication skills. Knowledge of relevant regulations and product standards an asset. Purchasing / Supply Chain certification. Bilingual (English / French). Experience with hazardous materials regulations. Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices.

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-driven, proactive Buyer to support daily procurement operations. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will manage vendor relationships, coordinate inventory needs, and drive cost-effective sourcing strategies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys optimizing supply chain performance.
Location : On-Site in Niagara Falls, Ontario
Employment Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure janitorial and cleaning supplies from vetted and prospective suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; evaluate new vendor opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery issues, and manage non-conformance procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze usage trends and support demand forecasting.
- Negotiate pricing and delivery terms aligned with company goals.
- Create and manage purchase orders in the ERP system with accurate documentation.
- Support cross-functional coordination with accounting, customer service, and sales.
