Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products / services to determine suitability for the project.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through supplier negotiation, consolidation, and alternative sourcing methods.
• Ensure accurate creation of Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system, including expected delivery dates.
• Monitor PO commitments and address any discrepancies or issues.
• Manage and maintain all relevant supplier documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.
• Maintain an accurate ledger for auditing purposes and assist Accounts Payable (AP) in resolving invoicing discrepancies.
• Revise and verify Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure the timely sourcing and delivery of materials as per Project requests.
• Close POs on an ongoing basis, ensuring every PO is finalized before project closure.
