Senior Process Engineer – WSP Canada
Join WSP’s Energy & Process division as a Senior Process Engineer in our British Columbia office. The role is a process discipline lead on projects ranging from conceptual studies to detailed engineering of large mega projects globally.
Opportunity
WSP supports clients across Canada and worldwide in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas activities, as well as energy transition markets. Our projects deliver design, engineering, and environmental services that meet climate adaptation, mitigation, water and marine resource stewardship, biodiversity protection, and low‑carbon transition goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the process discipline on projects, managing client relationships and project quality.
- Communicate and coordinate with team members, vendors, clients, and sub‑contractors.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings, reviewing deliverables from junior and intermediate colleagues.
- Conduct process and technology selection, equipment sizing and specification, mass balance, hydraulic analysis, 3‑D layout review, and mentorship.
- Coordinate project management of multiple simultaneous projects, including resource planning, budgeting, strategy, and staff development.
- Provide hybrid consulting engineering support, with occasional travel and fieldwork.
Qualifications
Salary
British Columbia : $149,800 – $205,900. Final salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, and business needs.
