Job Summary

The Team

Join the Cyber Security and Digital Trust team as one of four Directors leading the BC Government's Cyber Security Leadership group-an experienced and collaborative team committed to protecting public systems and services. You'll manage a team of 30 and work closely with Ministry Security Officers, fellow Directors, and OCIO leadership to ensure strong cyber controls and rapid threat response. Qualifications :

Education and Experience Requirements

• Degree, diploma, certification in computer science or other related technical field, or equivalent in education and experience.
• At least five(5) years' of progressive cybersecurity and leadership experience including :

Identifying and assessing IT risks, current threats, and security incident response and management.

About this Position :

This position is based in Victoria.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work 3or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.

A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.

Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
