What you’ll do :
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business-to-Business at Westview Co-op, the HABS Division Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our HABS locations. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a business development strategy and ensuring the efficient, effective, and safe operation of each of our Home & Building locations.
The HABS Division Manager will :
- Understand and following Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program
- Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto.
- Lead the HABS Team to develop the Home & Building strategy in support of the vision and mission. Guiding the vision in interpreting and defining general operational goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Focus on growth opportunities and priorities across divisions based on corporate goals and retail capacity.
- Work with the Leadership Team to plan for facility upgrades and replacements.
- Responsible for developing talent to meet the needs of the business, including training and development, succession planning and leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Develop and implement annual and long-term retail marketing strategies and plans that support corporate and division goals.
- Responsible for sales, margins, expenses and working capital in the HABS division.
- Develop annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and business plans for the HABS division.
- Frequent travel across our trading area and occasionally outside of our trading area.
- Other projects and assignments as required.
- Provide a strategic focus by developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns to boost sales and consumer awareness of the Co-op Value proposition.
- Work closely with our Executive Leadership Team and Marketing Team to execute strategies while looking for new ways to enhance business growth through CRS Programs.
This individual will work with Team Leaders to identify areas for improvement and follow up on execution.
