Our client is an international CRO based in Montreal. They are currently hiring and Account Manager that will be responsible for actively managing new and existing customer base as well as developing sales strategies to continue to grow the business in the industrial chemical testing and agrochemical and pesticide market.
Key responsibilities are to:
Manage business development activities to meet and exceed annual sales goals.
Actively develop sales and marketing strategies to promote new services to potential new customers and grow within the existing customer base.
Create action plans to maximize sales opportunities in the industrial chemical market and agrochemical and pesticide market.
Work collaboratively and support the team account managers for their designated area.
Skills and qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field ((Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry). Additional sales or formal. Management training is an asset.
Minimum of 3 years in a Business Development role in the industrial chemical or agrochemical and pesticide industry.
Experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) is an asset.
Willingness to travel frequently out of the country/provinces.
Demonstrate an outstanding ability to communicate in English in a clear, effective and compelling manner both orally and written, possess good communication skills in French.
Dynamic and able to develop strong professional connections.
Ability to take initiatives and have good organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
