Job Title : Business Development Manager – LTL & LogisticsLocation : Mississauga, ONStatus : Full-TimeSalary : $80,000-$95,000 + Benefits & CommissionPosition Summary : The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving domestic sales and fostering client relationships for a leading Canadian transportation company. Specializing in Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) solutions, this position is responsible for expanding business opportunities across Ontario, Quebec, Western Canada, and select regions of the United States.As part of the logistics and solutions division of a recognized asset-based parent company, the Business Development Manager will deliver tailored transportation solutions and ensure seamless integration of warehousing, cross-docking, intermodal, freight forwarding, and domestic LTL services for clients.Key Responsibilities : Identify and develop new business opportunities within the domestic LTL and logistics sector.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.Design and present customized transportation solutions to meet client-specific needs.Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective account management and strategic business development.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills; focused and goal orientedProven experience in sales and business development within the transportation and logistics industry.Expertise in domestic LTL, intermodal, and freight forwarding solutions.Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to deliver client-centric solutions.Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Motivated and results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Compensation and Benefits : Salary : Competitive base salary of $80,000 - $95,000 / year plus commission.Car Allowance : Provided to support travel needs.Benefits : Comprehensive health and dental coverage.Vacation : Three weeks of vacation for work-life balance.About the Company : This Mississauga-based, asset-based transportation leader is known for its Canadian identity and expertise in domestic LTL and over-the-road transport.
