Job description

Our Burnaby-based government client is looking for a skilled and dynamic Senior Technical Business Analyst to drive the success of an impactful and fast-paced project. Responsibilities

  • Develop documentation to support analytics transformation efforts, including high level project execution plans and analytics
  • Prepare and present findings to project stakeholders and IT leadership.
  • Recommend reporting and analytics best practices and standards.
  • Perform assessment of current platforms.
  • Complete review of current reporting areas and inventory.
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable target replacement analytics and reporting options based on current and projected needs.
  • Work with business areas to identify and document their analytics and reporting use cases.
  • Work with IT to identify potential skill and capability gaps and upskilling opportunities
  • Qualifications

  • Technical IT knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • A strong understanding of integrations is ideal - the resource will work with Enterprise Architects and other business / technology stakeholders to assess technical solutions and alternatives.
  • Ability to conduct analyses with data to look for patterns and trends.
