Job descriptionExtensive experience as a BA on large, complex projects through all phases of the project, preference to BA's with a strong background in IT projects. Strong oral and written communications with the ability to manage and document functional / non-functional requirements, test plans, test scripts, workflows and reports. Strong requirements management experience (process) and proficient in the use of requirements gathering, documentation and prioritization tools. Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst required for information technology projects within the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) / Nuclear Development team. The Business Analyst role performs Business Analyst and Test Lead activities as well as some minor project management and organizational change management activities. This position is required full time Monday to Friday : am to : pm. Consideration for off-site (within Canada) or hybrid work (on site in the office and work from home); however, preference will be given to those available to be on-site at least days / week. Please indicate candidates availability for on-site work and if remote, from where. Nuclear experience is not required. Candidate will be required to successfully pass identify verification, background check including electronic fingerprinting, and CSIS Level security clearance once SMR security clearance procedure implemented.
Service sought :
This position will develop and implement information technology for the SMR / Nuclear Development team with a major focus on :
Identifying and documenting business requirements (functional and non-functional) for information technology needs identified by the SMR / Nuclear Development team.
Developing and implementing new business processes and supports including governance (policies, standards, guidelines, process, and procedures).
Developing and implementing SharePoint / Power App solutions.
Working with training to develop and implement training materials to ensure operations and business areas are ready to accept technical solutions and processes.
Working with organizational change management to identify and implement OCM to support the technology and processes. The SMR / Nuclear Development team will be developing, implementing and supporting a new IT environment initially with a strong focus on cloud, Microsoft, SharePoint, Power Apps and Power BI.
Certifications :
- University degree in a related field OR business diploma OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- PMP or CAPM. CBAP or other PROSCI certification IAEA training in security and information technology
