Job Duties Job Duties QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) Advancement is hiring for a 0.2 FTE Part time, Major Gift Processing Administrator, this position reports to the Manager Donations & Trust in Advancement.
In this position you will possess or be able to :
Demonstrate valuing diversity in all work interactions (EDI and Indigenous Reconciliation)
General Knowledge of CRA guidelines, privacy legislation, CFRE, Canadian charitable giving standards and best practices.
Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), and demonstrated proficiency in database administration i.e. Raiser’s Edge donor database.
Strong customer service skills and proven ability to develop and sustain productive relationships.
Effective interpersonal skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to recognize, comprehend, analyze and solve complex issues.
High level of motivation and proven ability to work independently.
Ability to balance demanding workload, multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
Qualified Requirements :
Grade 12 plus a Diploma in Business or Office Education or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Three years of experience in office administration.
In this position you will also :
Advise, develop, and coordinate all aspects of Advancement gift administration to deliver quality donor experience building affinity through increased donor engagement and satisfaction.
Ensure gift administration aligns with Canada Revenue Agency legislation, institutional gift acceptance, fundraising policies and procedures. Must be able to interpret, advise and guide the procedures.
Develop and implement comprehensive Gift-In-Kind processes and valuation requirements.
Develop, implement and manage all aspects of the giving transaction and experience for Sask Polytech donors. This includes working within Advancement as well as Finance, and other, internal and external partners to coordinate and manage the donor’s gift transactional experience.
Work closely and collaboratively with Advancement Services, fundraisers and donor relations and stewardship unit to ensure that gift and system records structure management is developed to optimally support gift administration, stewardship and reporting and align with Advancement strategic objective, and
Lead and / or participate on multiple project and initiatives that will aid improving processes and functionality while enhancing data integration and overall program effectiveness.
