Responsibilities for Office Building Security Guard

• Assist site staff and visitors to ensure safe and secure environment.
• Record all events in the Logbook
• Respond to incident for Tenants if required
• Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and adhering to security procedures
• Site patrol, locking and unlocking building, investigating and reporting incidents and hazards.
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Take actions during emergency situations as per Garda world and USB protocols
• Performing environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises e.t.c
• Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.

Qualifications for Office Building Security Guard

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
• Customer service oriented
• Must be able to work Afternoon shifts
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
