Job descriptionCollaborates with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translates them into technical specifications. Designs and proposes IT solutions that align with business goals and processes. Evaluates and recommends software solutions to meet business needs. Performs system testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution to ensure solutions function as intended. Develops and maintains documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Conducts training sessions for end-users as needed. Stays updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve system solutions. Liaises with the Technical Design Authority (TDA) ensuring applications comply with stipulated technical guidelines. Analyzing technical documents and reverse engineer products to document functionality, and data schemas where none exist. Troubleshoots identified issues. Accountable for issue resolution. Escalates to vendors as required. Completes service transition documentation. Creates knowledgebase articles. Builds and maintains runbooks. Participates in monthly post patch testing. Performs system upgrades during non-peak business hours. Responds to major incidents promptly. Creates change tickets, follows up with approvals, coordinates required resources, and presents changes to the Change Advisory Board. Monitors the team queue for incidents and captures troubleshooting activities. Analyses recurring problems for root cause, proposes remediation activities, and executes on them. A college diploma with a technology focus, such as computer science, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and professional certifications. At least 4-6 years of experience in IT progressing from a developer / integrator / DBA. .NET (C#) PowerShell Microsoft SQL Server (SQL, SSRS, SSIS) Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate) Automation (Robotic Process and / or Test Automation) SharePoint HTML & JavaScript Highly effective at translating new ideas and complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders. Knowledge of legal industry technologies including document management, practice management, knowledge management and case management systems highly desirable. Willingness and flexibility to work non-standard hours as required to support project and support activities. Able to cope with conflicting demands and meet deadlines. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Self-motivated and self-managed. Exceptional ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and written. Team player but takes personal responsibility for getting things done. Written and spoken English is required, Bilingual French is an asset. Achieved ITIL Foundation certification. Vancouver Salary : $74,928 - $93,660. Salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview and will be based on experience.
