Responsibilities
Prepare detailed designs, estimates, and working drawings based on instructions or initial sketches and diagrams.
Recommend design improvements, modifications, and simplifications to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate project deliverables and develop basic to mid-level designs and layouts, including basic design calculations.
Complete construction drawings using 3D modeling software and ensure accuracy in project documentation.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, balancing design requirements with practical construction considerations.
Requirements
ASET membership (required) with bridge and transportation project experience.
Skilled in producing structural drawings (concrete and steel).
Knowledge of civil / structural construction practices.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience with Alberta Transportation standards (preferred).
