Incorporated in May 2012 with offices in Toronto, Sudbury, and Winnipeg, Orix has collaboratively supported 240+ clients applying geological and geomatic expertise to drive global desktop and Canadian field projects forward.
The Role
Orix is looking for passionate Field Geologists to join our Team for core logging field projects and possible mapping projects for 16 Days on 12 Days off rotations (Field accommodations and travel logistics provided by Orix). Qualifications
- University Degree in Geological Sciences or similar field (Geology, Earth Sciences);
- Geologist-in-Training (G.I.T.) designation or greater is required for this role;
- Up to 3 years of combined core logging and field experience on a mineral exploration field project;
- Valid Canadian driver’s license is required;
- Valid First Aid Certificate an asset;
- Superior communication, interpersonal, client service skills combined with a strong attention to detail and a high degree of integrity and confidentiality;
- Demonstrates a commitment to health and safety in the workplace and in field environments, understanding and adhering to safety protocols;
- Ability to work in remote field locations for 2 week periods (16 Days on, including travel, 12 Days off).
