I am looking for an Industrial Engineer for my client, located in Repentigny. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week).

Your Role

Reporting to the Enginnering Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks :

Analyze existing production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Design and optimize production systems to maximize efficiency and quality.
Participate in the planning and implementation of new equipment or technologies.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective project coordination.
Oversee time and motion studies to enhance productivity.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports.
Propose innovative solutions within the framework of continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the workplace.

Your Professional Skills

Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.

Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Your Personality

We are looking for a curious and proactive individual, capable of working both independently and in a team. You are results-oriented and adaptable to change. Your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Your Background

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position within the manufacturing sector.

ING title or CPI in progress

Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.

The use of English is required in this position for the following reasons :

Collaboration with English-speaking partners : You will have to collaborate with English-speaking suppliers and partners for order tracking and contract management.

Writing documents in English

Additional Information

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000 based on experience.
