Job Description
As part of a dynamic recruitment team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the full life cycle recruitment process for roles in personal and commercial banking group in Canada. If you are a seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialist with a successful track record in an agency and / or a corporate environment, then we want to hear from you. You will have a proven track record in delivering recruitment services and managing relationships with senior leaders. You will source, screen and assess talent in order to provide recommendations to managers on best fit. As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will develop a solid understanding of the assigned businesses and build strong relationships with managers, HR Partners and other internal groups as appropriate. This is a great impact role.
What will you do?
- Conduct a thorough intake conversation with hiring manager detailing the position needs, scope and clarifying joint roles and expectations; act as Subject Matter Expert for managers throughout the recruitment process
- Embed diversity conversations in all recruitment and sourcing activities
- Full life-cycle recruitment from sourcing, screening, assessing, interviewing, recommending candidates, offer negotiations etc.
- Manage the recruitment process including document / track all pertinent information using Applicant Tracking System
- Build / maintain pipeline of candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles through appropriate and targeted sourcing
- Independently generate candidate flow at all levels through internal postings, proactive networking, career fairs, online job boards, local press, professional associations, social media and initiating other channels as appropriate
- Provide quality market intelligence to business regarding the recruitment market, and build a pipeline / database of future talent based on market research and industry knowledge. Proactively seek out live market benchmark intelligence in relation to compensation
- Play an active role in marketing / communication activities to enhance the employment brand
- Commercial banking services industry recruitment experience
