Job descriptionGraduate of a recognized Electronics program. Strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and customer service orientation. Relevant industry repair and maintenance experience is an asset. Training from NCTI or SCTE is an asset. Proactive in safety practices and able to work safely at heights using ladders, pole gaffs, or bucket trucks near energized equipment or power lines. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; ability to travel regionally. Ability to lift up to 90 lbs manually, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks such as kneeling and working above shoulders.

We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Amherst, NS. The successful candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to this area.
Responsibilities :
- Provide superior customer service by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving service issues in the outside plant for both forward and return paths.
- Address faults from the mainline to the customer’s premises that impair service operation.
- Maintain the outside plant network efficiently and promptly to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in in-house technical and safety training, with additional training as experience increases.
