Job descriptionUtilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems accurately. Repair and Maintenance : Technical Expertise : Interpret technical manuals and specifications to execute repairs effectively. Troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative solutions to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Team Collaboration : Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by sharing knowledge and assisting team members as needed. Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician, with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Certification from a recognized automotive technical program or equivalent experience preferred. Organizational skills / Time Management : Strong planning and organizational skills, with an ability to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously. Communication style : Tactful, clear, and empathetic communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with co-workers. Collaborator : Able to manage relationships in a collaborative manner, with a wide range of stakeholder groups and personality types, applying diplomacy to reach win-win resolutions. Conflict Management : Frames discussions positively, takes action to resolve conflict while minimizing tension. Overview :
As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and appearance. You will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise in automotive technology and craftsmanship to deliver high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis :
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues.
Repair and replace damaged mechanical components, such as suspension systems, brakes, exhaust systems, occupant restraint systems, heating and cooling systems, etc.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
Collaborate with other technicians and staff members to streamline workflow and maximize efficiency.
