Salary : $18 to $28.00 an hour

Compensation : $18 to $28.00 an hour based on experience

Availability Required : Monday to Friday

Hours will vary between 7 am and 7 pm daily.

Location : Cardinal Kia

Youll love your position as an Experienced Automotive Apprentice :

Inspect, diagnose and repair customer's vehicles

Work with a Master Technician on all service work orders to complete work efficiently and accurately

Test drive vehicles for diagnosing issues and tracing any problems

Consult and notify the service team if additional work is required or if repairs can't be completed in the anticipated timeline

Obtain parts from the parts department and return parts as required

Collaborate with other team members to complete repairs and meet customer expectations

Support maintaining a clean shop at all times and complete maintenance as required

Follow all company policies, processes, and health and safety requirements

Other duties as assigned

Wed love to hear from you if you have :

Completion of High School Diploma or equivalency

Registered Automotive Apprentice with at least 12 years of car dealership experience

Strong knowledge of automotive repair tools, software, and techniques

Strong computer skills and the ability to use diagnostic software

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and / or instructions

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid G Drivers License and a clean abstract

Ability to drive manual vehicles (an asset)

Ability to lift 50+ lbs at a time
